Care

Preparation, not legal advice. Meant, not muttered.

Most software says something like this in gray text at the bottom. We think the boundary is the product working properly, so it gets a page.

The line, in plain words

Regolyn reads how your company uses AI and prepares you for the rules that touch it: the mapping, the score, the gaps, the drafted artifacts. That work is real and it is most of the effort of getting ready.

What it is not is legal advice. Whether a specific obligation applies to your specific facts, in a specific jurisdiction, in an edge case, is a judgment call, and judgment calls about law belong to a licensed professional who represents you.

So Regolyn is built to make the lawyer moment smaller and sharper, not to pretend it away. When a finding matters, the product says: this one is worth an hour of counsel, and here is the package to bring them.

A good preparation tool makes professional review cheaper and better. A bad one convinces you to skip it.

That sentence is in our onboarding, our drafts, and our sales calls. If you ever catch the product implying otherwise, that is a bug: tell us.

Commitments

What we will and will not do

Regolyn will

  • Map your AI use against published obligations, with reasons you can check
  • Say plainly which findings deserve a lawyer, and hand them a clean package
  • Ask when a fact is missing instead of assuming it
  • Show the library version behind every assessment, and what changed between versions
  • Keep your answers private, exportable, and deletable

Regolyn will not

  • Give legal opinions, or predict how a regulator or court will rule
  • Certify you as compliant, or produce a badge that implies it
  • Guess silently: an unknown becomes an open question, never a filled blank
  • Use fear as a sales channel: no countdown clocks, no fine calculators
  • Train models on your company's answers, ever
